Sabrina Carpenter made an exciting and unexpected return to Saturday Night Live (SNL) during its 2026 season premiere, reprising her beloved role in the comedic sketch “Snack Homiez.” This sketch features four pre-teen boys running a quirky podcast, first introduced in SNL’s third episode of the current season, during Carpenter’s hosting debut.

In her latest appearance, Carpenter stepped back into the shoes of Tayson, sharing the stage with fellow cast members including Chloe Fineman as Braylor, Jane Wickline as Kyler, and Veronika Slowikowska as Jason. The sketch delightfully highlighted the group’s humorous banter as they debated their favorite Halloween treats and vegetables. The comedic dynamics intensified with the surprise cameo of James Austin Johnson, who impersonated former President Donald Trump, creating a strikingly memorable moment.

This surprise encore also featured notable guest appearances. Finn Wolfhard, famous for his role in “Stranger Things,” joined the cast as Braylor’s cousin Michah, while rapper A$AP Rocky appeared as the musical guest, highlighting his Rap Snacks brand.

Having made her fourth appearance on SNL in just under two years, Carpenter’s stature on the show continues to grow. She first graced the SNL stage as a musical guest in May 2024 and delighted fans in 2025 by interrupting Quinta Brunson’s monologue and returning for a dual role on October 18, 2025.

Carpenter’s engagement with SNL also includes her performance in SNL50: The Anniversary Special, where she delivered a touching duet of “Homeward Bound” alongside the legendary Paul Simon.

As she enchants audiences with her talents in both music and sketch comedy, Sabrina Carpenter is carving out a cherished legacy as a recurring guest on SNL. Fans are left eagerly anticipating her future appearances, which only serve to enhance the show’s rich history and cultural significance.
