Bula FC has officially announced the signing of midfielder Asivorosi Rabo, marking him as the club’s 14th addition ahead of the inaugural OFC Pro League, scheduled to kick off in January 2026.
At just 20 years old, Rabo stands out as one of Fiji’s most promising young talents, with a football journey deeply influenced by his family’s legacy in the sport. He began his playing career at the age of eight in New Zealand, where he received coaching from his father, former national star Pita Rabo.
After returning to Fiji in 2013, Rabo continued to shine, representing Krishna Vedic Primary School and making his way through the Rewa youth system. His talent became further evident while playing for Bhawani Dayal Arya College in various age divisions, including U15, U17, and U19.
Rabo’s climb through Rewa’s ranks led to his debut with the senior team in 2023, where he played until this year. Despite the prominent surname he carries, Rabo has forged his own identity through dedication and hard work.
His journey has not been without challenges, including a significant injury that sidelined him for months, putting his resilience to the test. With the unwavering support of his loved ones and a determination he attributes to “God’s second chance,” he made a strong comeback, ready for new challenges.
As Rabo embarks on this exciting new chapter with Bula FC, he views this opportunity as a pivotal moment in his athletic career. “Getting this chance to play for Bula FC could be a turning point in my career. Playing professionally has been a dream of mine, and now the opportunity is real. I’m grateful to the coach, the management, and everyone who believes in me. This year, we’re ready to achieve something special,” he expressed.
Rabo’s commitment and optimism provide a hopeful outlook for his future at Bula FC, and many will be watching to see how he transforms his dreams into reality on the pitch.
