Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden has been cleared to play in Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos. After dealing with a wrist injury, Golden has finally been listed without a designation for this week’s matchup, according to Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers’ official site.

Golden initially faced challenges after suffering a shoulder injury in Week 9 against the Panthers, followed by a wrist issue that sidelined him for three games, leaving him with only 23 combined offensive snaps and four targets in the two games he participated. The encouraging news came when he was a full participant in Friday’s practice for the first time since his Week 9 injury.

With Golden back in the lineup, he could contribute to the Packers’ offensive strategy, although the team does have other key wide receivers available. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed (who is nursing a shoulder issue), Dontayvion Wicks (with an ankle concern), and Bo Melton will also be ready for action, which may see Golden’s role limited to specific plays or formations.

Packers fans are hopeful that Golden’s return will enhance their offensive options as the team looks to secure a crucial win on the road. His presence may provide much-needed depth to a receiving corps that has faced its share of injuries this season.
