The acclaimed musical SIX will usher in a fresh set of performers starting February 16, as TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney and Abigail Barlow, creator of The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical Album, join the cast. Mulvaney will take on the role of Anne Boleyn, while Barlow will portray Katherine Howard. The beloved original cast members Adrianna Hicks and Anna Uzele will return as Catherine of Aragon and Catherine Parr, respectively, with Olivia Donalson reprising her role as Anna of Cleves.

Current stars Najah Hetsberger, Gianna Yanelli, Krystal Hernandez, Kay Sibal, and Taylor Marie Daniel will make their final appearances on February 15, making way for the new queens of the stage. The highly-anticipated casting for Jane Seymour is still to be announced.

Both Mulvaney and Barlow are making their Broadway debuts despite their rise to fame on social media. Barlow gained recognition for her viral musical adaptation based on Bridgerton in 2020, while Mulvaney’s viral series “Days of Girlhood” documented her experiences as a trans woman. Their backgrounds reflect strong foundations in musical theatre, with Barlow trained at the Alabama School of Fine Arts and Mulvaney holding a BFA in musical theatre from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. Recently, Mulvaney debuted Off-Broadway with her solo show, The Least Problematic Woman in the World, and has also performed in The Book of Mormon’s national tour. Meanwhile, Barlow has collaborated with Emily Bear on the music for Moana 2, scheduled for release in 2024.

SIX, which tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII, officially opened on Broadway at the Lena Horne Theatre on October 3, 2021. Co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage, it features choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille and is supported by an impressive creative team.

This musical has earned significant accolades, including a Tony Award in 2022 for Best Original Score and an Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. The West End production continues to thrive at the Vaudeville Theatre in London.
