The Moline Regional Community Foundation (MRCF) is set to enhance its impact in the local nonprofit sector through a new partnership with Old National Bank Wealth Management (ONB). This collaboration will facilitate the awarding of grants to local organizations, continuing the philanthropic legacies of three notable families: the Dorothy and Bud Lundahl Charitable Trust, Charles Deere Wiman Memorial Trust, and the Sheila Murphy Foundation.

In a statement released on Thursday, December 18, MRCF President and CEO Paul Plagenz expressed gratitude for the partnership with ONB, emphasizing its role in furthering the community’s well-being. “Their commitment to strengthening our community through the causes they care about will change lives for generations to follow,” Plagenz noted.

For the 2025 grant cycle, over $169,000 has been allocated for distribution to various nonprofit organizations. The funds will support a range of initiatives that aim to address crucial community needs.
