The body of a 15-year-old student, who had been missing since December 24, 2025, was found today in Tamaivua-i-Wai. The teenager had left home that day with friends to visit Suva but failed to return as anticipated.
In their search for the boy, his family reached out to local relatives and friends before reporting him missing to the Samabula Police Station earlier today. A 30-year-old man discovered the body and promptly informed the authorities. The victim’s parents were able to confirm his identity through the clothing found at the scene.
