A new trailer for “MELANIA” was released on Wednesday, showcasing the documentary that offers an in-depth look at Melania Trump’s life as she prepares for her husband’s second inauguration. Scheduled for theatrical release on January 30, the film provides a closer look at her experiences behind the scenes during this significant transition.

Melania Trump described the project as a unique opportunity for global audiences to step into her world. “For the first time, global audiences are invited into theaters to witness this pivotal chapter unfold—a private, unfiltered look as I navigate family, business, and philanthropy on my remarkable journey to becoming First Lady of the United States of America,” she shared in an interview with Fox News.

In a prior appearance on Fox & Friends, the former first lady elaborated on the film’s intimate portrayal of her responsibilities and personal life. Directed by Brett Ratner, “MELANIA” will also feature appearances by former President Donald Trump and their son, Barron. The trailer highlights a moment where Melania coaches her husband as he prepares for a speech in which he refers to himself as a “peacemaker” and “unifier.”

Acquired by Amazon MGM Studios for an estimated $40 million, the deal marks one of the largest licensing agreements for a political documentary. Following its limited theatrical run, the film is expected to debut on Amazon’s streaming platform, Prime Video. The announcement of the project occurred back in January, just before President Trump’s inauguration, signaling a noteworthy shift in the dynamics between Trump and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

As a confirmation of their growing alignment with the new administration, Amazon pledged $1 million to Trump’s inauguration fund. Despite previous tensions stemming from the coverage by Bezos’ Washington Post, there appears to be a newfound optimism from Bezos regarding potential regulatory changes in Trump’s second term.

Melania Trump, who is credited as an executive producer of the film, announced her new production venture, Muse Films, in November. It’s still uncertain whether Muse Films played a direct role in this documentary’s production, but sources familiar with the project revealed that Melania was involved in every aspect of the film’s creation, including post-production.

As audiences anticipate the film’s release, “MELANIA” promises to provide a unique glimpse into the life of a former First Lady, potentially fostering a better understanding of her role and the challenges she faced during her time in the public eye.
