MTV has announced that “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” will conclude after its upcoming season, which is set to premiere on May 7. The beloved reality show has kept fans guessing about its future, especially after the first half of Season 8 wrapped up in September 2025, leading to an extended hiatus.

In this final season, audiences can expect 18 more episodes of the series that originally aired for six seasons from 2009 to 2012 before returning in 2018 as “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.” Following the announcement of the show’s end, all nine cast members collaborated on a social media video to discuss the news, hinting at the prospect of continuing their journey on another network.

In the video, cast members expressed their excitement for what lies ahead. Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio started by questioning the finality of the announcement, stating, “Final? Who said anything about final? We’re just getting started!” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi reassured fans, “Don’t worry, we got a lot more messiness for ya.”

The cast emphasized that while MTV’s direction may be changing, their legacy remains steadfast. Jenni “JWoww” Farley directly addressed MTV by stating, “MTV’s changing, but we’re not.” Meanwhile, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino promised fans that the story will continue, and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola shared her eagerness for what the future holds.

The clip also featured humorous moments, with Angelina Pivarnick commenting on her current wintery environment and Deena Cortese hinting at exciting plans ahead. The video concluded with Polizzi passionately stating their anticipation for more episodes, and a screen message declaring that the “Jersey Shore” family will live on indefinitely.

As the final season approaches, fans are left with the hope of new adventures for the iconic cast, reaffirming their enduring legacy in reality television. The series is set to premiere on Thursday, May 7, at 8/7c on MTV.
