Actress Jennie Garth has opened up about her desire to join the cast of the acclaimed HBO anthology series, The White Lotus. In a recent episode of her podcast, I Choose Me With Jennie Garth, she expressed her disappointment at not being cast in the show’s third season, which showcases the guests and staff at a luxury resort in Thailand. During her conversation with guest Susan Lucci, Garth candidly shared her feelings, saying, “For me, one of the roles that I have recently not gotten that I was bummed about was one of the characters on White Lotus. And they shot that season in Thailand, which I would have really loved.”
Garth, who is best known for her portrayal of Kelly Taylor on Beverly Hills, 90210, has made a lasting impact on fans throughout her career. She appeared in all ten seasons of the original series and made appearances in the 2009 reboot, 90210. In an earlier interview on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, Garth reflected on her enduring association with the beloved character. Though she finds it “very strange” to be identified solely as Kelly, she appreciates the loyalty shown by fans of the show.
She emphasized the importance of accepting and embracing that connection, stating, “You have to accept it and embrace it. And that’s what I’ve chosen to do instead of fight it.” Garth expressed gratitude for the impact she had on viewers, acknowledging that the reference to her character is a reminder of the meaningful connection she has built with fans over the years.
Her openness and positive outlook on her career, along with her ability to engage with fans on various platforms, demonstrate her commitment to her craft and her appreciation of those who have supported her throughout her journey. Garth’s reflections are a testament to her growth as an artist and her desire to diversify her roles moving forward.
