IKEA has announced plans to expand its footprint in Colorado with a new store set to open in Fort Collins. The Swedish furniture retailer will establish its third location in the state at 4250 Corbett Drive, the site previously occupied by Urban Air trampoline park. This latest addition will be part of IKEA’s ambitious strategy to launch 10 new stores during the fiscal year 2026.
The Fort Collins store is designed to cover a significant area of 64,000 square feet, incorporating a central kitchen and special planning areas for bedrooms and bathrooms. Customers can expect to find a diverse selection of 3,200 items, including home furnishing accessories and small furniture. Additionally, the store will offer a variety of popular food options, featuring IKEA’s signature Swedish meatballs, hot dogs, and veggie dogs.
This new location in Fort Collins will complement IKEA’s existing 415,000-square-foot store in Centennial and a convenient pick-up point in Colorado Springs. The announcement follows a successful year for the retailer in 2025, when it opened 14 new retail outlets, including small-format stores in Arcadia, California, and San Marcos, Texas. This expansion reflects IKEA’s commitment to enhancing its brand presence and making shopping more convenient for customers across the country.
As IKEA prepares to establish its presence in Fort Collins, residents can look forward to new shopping options and the opportunity to explore a wide range of home furnishings.
