The anticipated second debut of Brisbane Bullets’ star wing Javon Freeman-Liberty has been postponed for at least a week as he contends with a viral illness. Freeman-Liberty, who recently re-signed with the Bullets, will miss the upcoming Round 11 match against the Adelaide 36ers at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

The 26-year-old player had been an essential component of the Bullets’ lineup earlier this season, averaging 19 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. In his absence, young talent Tristan Devers will step in to fill his role in Coach Stu Lash’s squad.

Despite the setback with Freeman-Liberty, there is some positive news for Brisbane supporters. New acquisition Terry Taylor is officially with the team and is expected to make his NBL debut during the game on Friday night. Additionally, Sam McDaniel, who has been sidelined since Round 2 due to an ankle injury, has also been cleared to take the court.

The Round 11 fixture is set to begin at 7:30 PM AEDT and will be broadcast live on ESPN, providing fans an opportunity to see how the team adapts with the new roster changes. The Bullets will be looking to maintain their momentum as they navigate the challenges of the season.
