Queens from across the Pacific have arrived in Nadi, creating an electric atmosphere as Fiji prepares to host the eagerly awaited Miss Pacific Islands Pageant 2026. This marks a significant moment for the nation, which has waited a decade since last crowning a Miss Pacific Islands in 2016, and is ready to reclaim its place on the regional stage.

Pageant Director Ana Tuiketei shared her enthusiasm for the event, underscoring its importance not just for Fiji but for the entire Pacific region. “We’re thrilled to welcome seven other Pacific Island countries to Fiji. This week, we will showcase the best of our cultures, promote friendship, and give our queens a chance to shine on a truly international platform,” she remarked.

The queens’ arrival signals the start of an exhilarating week filled with glamour, cultural displays, and camaraderie. Participants will engage in team-building activities and exclusive behind-the-scenes preparations, providing fans with a peek into creating a world-class Pacific production. “We’re also excited to welcome the other Miss Pacific Islands Queens, and due to their partnership, we will be showcasing everything behind the scenes and all activities during the pageant,” Tuiketei added.

In the spirit of Pacific traditions, celebrations commenced with a homage to God during White Sunday, marking a special highlight of the week. Local audiences will have ample opportunity to catch the unfolding events, as the pageant will be broadcast live on FBC TV and streamed on the VT Plus platform, reaching viewers across 16 other countries.

Tickets are available on Ticketmax, and Tuiketei encourages Fijians to “come and cheer your queen on” as the nation steps back into the spotlight. With contestants already settled in Nadi, anticipation builds for a fiercely competitive event. Team Fiji, along with Miss Fiji Ailava Samuel, is reported to be disciplined and ready to face off against strong regional rivals.

Tuiketei emphasized that this pageant goes beyond competition; it is about friendship, diplomacy, culture, and pride, while also highlighting Fiji’s strengths. As the official date approaches, the excitement is building, and Nadi is buzzing with anticipation. The Pacific watches closely as Fiji opens its doors to the region’s queens, eager to see who will be crowned Miss Pacific Islands 2026.
