Dhirendra Nand, president of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha, has urged followers of Sanatan Dharma across the nation to embrace unity as they prepare for the year 2026. In his recent message, he underscored the importance of harmony and collaboration in enhancing faith institutions and positively impacting the community.
Mr. Nand highlighted that the core teachings of Sanatan Dharma emphasize the concept of universal brotherhood, suggesting that true unity should be rooted in mutual respect and understanding rather than mere uniformity. He expressed, “Placing Dharm above division would allow communities to work together more effectively and strengthen their service to Fiji.”
Moreover, he called on families and the younger generation to start the New Year with discipline and determination, encapsulating education as a crucial tool for empowerment. He emphasized that strong character lays the foundation for lasting success, urging young individuals to remain deeply connected to Sanatan values while also embracing modern educational opportunities.
