The Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF) is currently conducting an investigation into a heartbreaking incident involving the MV Ohana, a passenger vessel, which took place at Suva Wharf earlier this week. A 58-year-old woman fainted while on board, leading to her being administered immediate medical assistance. Tragically, she was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the hospital.

In its official statement, MSAF offered its deepest condolences to the family and friends mourning the loss.
