The Fiji Police Force convened its annual family church service this morning at the Centenary Methodist Church in Suva, fostering a collective moment of prayer and reflection for officers and their families. This event serves as a significant opportunity for the organization to seek spiritual guidance as well as blessings for its members and their families, particularly in light of the responsibilities that lie ahead in the coming year.

Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu took this occasion to express gratitude toward the officers for their dedication, especially during the festive season. He highlighted the positive feedback received from the community, acknowledging the hard work that ensures safety and security across the region.

Mr. Tudravu also emphasized the essential role of police families, recognizing their quiet sacrifices and unwavering support that underpins the work of officers on the front lines. During the sermon, General Secretary of the Methodist Church in Fiji, Dr. Jolame Lasawa, praised the efforts of the Fiji Police Force and encouraged officers to persist in their commitment to serve the community with both courage and dedication. He assured them that the church would maintain them in their prayers as they fulfill their duties.
