Laisani Blake has been crowned Punjas Fiji Miss Tebara 2025, and she approaches her new title with a sense of honor and responsibility. The 22-year-old nurse from Vunimono, Tailevu, has gained recognition not only for her vibrant spirit but also for her compassionate nature, which has been evident both in her role at the hospital and during her recent crowning ceremony.

Blake described the moment she received her title as surreal, sharing that her journey to becoming Miss Tebara was filled with significant challenges that demanded mental and emotional strength. “Showing up on stage and striving to meet my sponsor’s expectations as well as those of my family and supporters was taxing at times. There were moments when I felt drained and would sulk in my room, but the strength of prayer was what drove me through,” she reflected.

The experience of participating in the pageant has been transformative for Blake, prompting personal growth that she values deeply. “I’m grateful for everything I went through because it taught me a lot and shaped me into who I am today,” she remarked.

Looking towards the future, Blake is eager to return to her nursing position at the Nausori Health Centre. Alongside her professional aspirations, she has a powerful message for the youth, emphasizing the value of making wise decisions. “We cannot control the circumstances we face, but we can control our choices. Bad choices lead to regrets, while good choices lead to rewards. The choice you make now shapes your future, so choose wisely,” she urged.

Her journey serves not only as a testament to resilience but also as an inspiration to young individuals navigating their own paths in life. Blake’s dual roles as a nurse and a pageant titleholder highlight her dedication to both her community and her personal development, showcasing the positive impact one can have when embracing challenges and striving for excellence.
