FIJI Airports has announced a strategic alliance with Australian digital transformation consultancy CG TECH to implement a significant corporate digital transformation initiative. This program aims to modernize and improve various business systems within the organization, targeting essential functions such as finance, human resources, asset management, project management, and safety management.
Mesake Nawari, the CEO of Fiji Airports, emphasized that this initiative is crucial for the organization’s long-term growth and sustainability. He noted the importance of remaining resilient and efficient within the fast-evolving aviation sector. “This aligns with our ten-year strategic plan focused on the digitalization and enhancement of our systems, which is expected to yield substantial financial and efficiency benefits in our service delivery,” Mr. Nawari stated.
The primary objective of this digital transformation is to create a fully integrated suite of business systems that encompass finance, procurement, contracts, human resources, operations, and project management. This will enable the organization to access reliable and real-time information for making informed decisions efficiently and effectively.
Additionally, the program aims to leverage modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance data analysis, allowing executive teams to swiftly address challenges and make evidence-based decisions. The transition towards a modern digital workspace ensures that information is captured once, securely managed, and readily available through trusted systems that facilitate decision-making at all organizational levels.
“By strengthening our data analytics processes and establishing a high-performance digital platform, we aim to elevate our business performance,” a statement from Fiji Airports indicated. Carlos Garcia, the CEO of CG TECH, described this program as a way to provide clarity and assurance amid complex changes.
“Our role is to assist leadership teams in making informed decisions, mitigating risks, and confidently navigating the evolving landscape of technology and workplace practices,” Mr. Garcia mentioned. He highlighted the importance of fostering partnerships that concentrate on communication, capability-building, and supporting personnel throughout the transformation process.
Overall, this collaboration between Fiji Airports and CG TECH represents a forward-thinking approach to embracing digital change, which may significantly enhance operational efficiency and service delivery in the aviation sector.
