Extra Bula FC faced their second defeat in the OFC Pro League season, losing 1–0 to Tahiti United in a match held last night. The game remained goalless at halftime, with both teams struggling to find the back of the net. It wasn’t until the 69th minute that Tahiti United scored, taking the lead which they managed to defend until the final whistle.

Despite this setback, head coach Stephan Auvary remains optimistic about the team’s progression. He noted positive developments in their performances, highlighting an emphasis on long-term growth over immediate results. Auvary called on fans to exhibit patience and understanding as the team works on establishing its identity and playing style during the tournament.

Looking ahead, the OFC Pro League will shift to Australia, where Extra Bula FC is scheduled to face Vanuatu United on the 22nd of this month. There is a sense of hope that the team will continue to improve as they gather experience and build towards future matches.
