Disney+ subscribers are facing a quiet February 2026, with few new original releases on the horizon. The streaming service’s upcoming line-up, however, does feature some highlights, particularly for Marvel fans, who can look forward to three new releases. Star Wars enthusiasts, on the other hand, have limited information on new content aside from the highly anticipated theatrical release of The Mandalorian & Grogu in May.

The official Next on Disney+ blog has confirmed that February will largely be devoid of original offerings from major franchises like Marvel and Star Wars, leaving subscribers with sparse options in terms of new content.

The standout release for February is undoubtedly The Muppet Show, airing on February 4. This special marks the show’s 50th anniversary and serves as a backdoor pilot for a potential revival, with executive production from Seth Rogen and featuring popular musician Sabrina Carpenter.

Additionally, viewers can expect the premiere of Season 2 of The Artful Dodger on February 10, which is a Hulu original spin-off of Charles Dickens’ classic, Oliver Twist. This season will bring eight new episodes set in 19th-century Australia focused on the artful thief.

On February 13, fans of Phineas and Ferb can enjoy a new short in the Cartoonified spin-off. This particular episode will feature basketball superstar LeBron James and joins a lineup that has previously included guest appearances by Walker Scobell and YouTuber Mark Rober.

The apparent lull in February’s offerings might be strategic, allowing for a breather between high-profile releases such as Wonder Man, which premieres on January 27, and the much-anticipated Daredevil: Born Again in March.

Looking ahead, Marvel fans won’t have to wait long for more content, as Daredevil: Born Again is set to premiere its second season in March. Later in the year, subscribers can expect a range of Marvel productions, including X-Men ’97, your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2, VisionQuest, and a special feature on The Punisher.

From the Star Wars universe, upcoming releases include the live-action Ahsoka Season 2, the 3D-animated Maul: Shadow Lord, and the anime spin-off Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi. However, specific release dates remain unconfirmed.

While February may appear to offer limited new content, the anticipation for upcoming Marvel and Star Wars projects suggests a bright future for Disney+ subscribers.
