Indiana women’s basketball standout senior guard Ciezki has been recognized with her third Big Ten Player of the Week honor following her impressive performance during the previous week that led the Hoosiers to two victories. Ciezki shares this accolade with UCLA’s Kiki Rice.

In the games against Wisconsin and Purdue, the Buffalo, N.Y. native showcased her skills by averaging an extraordinary 30.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, while also boasting an efficient shooting percentage of 57.9% from the field. Her 3-point shooting stood at 46.2%, and she maintained an 83.3% success rate at the free-throw line, all while logging 40 minutes on the court in both matchups.

Ciezki’s standout moment came during the thrilling 77-74 victory against Wisconsin, where she scored 31 points, shooting 12-for-19 from the field. She also contributed significant defensive efforts, grabbing nine rebounds and recording a season-high five steals. In the following game against Purdue, Ciezki delivered another stellar performance, achieving her second double-double of the season with 29 points, a career-best 12 rebounds, and a remarkable eight assists.

As the Big Ten’s top scorer, Ciezki recorded her seventh game of 30 points this season, further extending her remarkable streak to 34 consecutive games scoring in double figures. With 991 career points tallied in just two seasons with Indiana, she is on the verge of joining the prestigious 1,000-point club.

Looking ahead, Indiana will continue their campaign on the west coast, facing USC on Thursday, February 12 at 10 p.m. ET, with the game broadcast on Big Ten Network. Ciezki’s vigorous performance and leadership are paving the way for an exciting season ahead for the Hoosiers.
