Fans of the Buffalo Bills have an exciting opportunity to meet two of the team’s top players during the grand opening of the new Dick’s House of Sports location in Amherst. Stars James Cook and Dion Dawkins will be in attendance to greet fans on March 14th and 15th, coinciding with the festivities of the store’s launch.

The celebration will begin on March 13th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, ushering in the 100,000 square foot facility that boasts impressive features such as a climbing wall and a multi-sport cage, suitable for sports like baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer. Besides the chance to enjoy these amenities, patrons will also have the opportunity to test out sports equipment before making a purchase.

Dawkins will host his meet and greet on March 14th from Noon to 1:30 pm, followed by Cook on March 15th during the same time frame. Both players’ appearances are expected to draw large crowds, so fans are encouraged to arrive early as no purchases are necessary for this exciting chance to connect with the athletes.

The anticipation for the event comes on the heels of an important week for Buffalo Bills supporters, as March 11th marks the commencement of the NFL season. This week will allow teams to officially sign free agents and engage in trades. Additionally, the Bills, now under a new head coach, will kick off their mandatory mini-camp earlier than other teams, starting April 6th.

The grand opening showcases the community’s continued enthusiasm for the Buffalo Bills and an eagerness to engage in local sports initiatives.
