Bridgerton Season 4, Part 2 has officially launched on Netflix, and with it, viewers are treated to a heartfelt tribute in the season finale to two beloved crew members: Nicholas Braimbridge and Tony Cooper.
As the latest episodes dropped on February 26, fans witnessed yet another Bridgerton sibling tying the knot, this time with Benedict (played by Luke Thompson) exchanging vows with Sophie (Yerin Ha), setting the stage for their happily ever after. However, amid the celebration, a significant tribute emerged on screen, honoring Braimbridge and Cooper with the message: “In loving memory of Nicholas Braimbridge, Tony Cooper.”
Nicholas Braimbridge, who passed away in May 2025, had become an integral part of the Bridgerton family. He was a proficient scenic artist whose talents significantly contributed to the vibrant aesthetics of the Bridgerton series and its spinoff, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. A GoFundMe campaign launched by Bridgerton art director Alison Gartshore revealed that Braimbridge is survived by his two teenage daughters, Flora and Amelia. While his cause of death remains undisclosed, Gartshore reminisced about him as an “expert faux finisher,” celebrated for his stunning marbling and wood grain finishes, noting his charm and the affection everyone felt toward him.
Tony Cooper, another honored crew member, served as a unit driver, playing a crucial role in ensuring that the cast, crew, and all necessary equipment reached the set on schedule. His contributions extended far beyond Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte, with an impressive resume that includes working on high-profile projects such as the Harry Potter series, The Crown, Wonder Woman, and the Mission: Impossible franchise, among many others.
Bridgerton continues to be available for streaming on Netflix, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in its richly crafted world while remembering the valuable contributions of Braimbridge and Cooper. Their legacies remain a testament to the talent and dedication behind the scenes of this popular series.
