IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference has unveiled the seedings and brackets for the upcoming 2026 Big 12 Wrestling Championships. This eagerly anticipated event is set to take place over two days at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, beginning on Friday, March 6, at 10 a.m. CT and culminating on Saturday, March 7, with the final matches starting at 7 p.m. CT.

Oklahoma State enters the tournament as the defending champion, boasting an impressive six of the ten No. 1 seeds across various weight classes. This dominance positions the team as a strong contender once again in this year’s competition.

The top eight seeds for each weight class have been released, showcasing a mix of talent from multiple institutions across the conference.

At 125 pounds, the top seeds include Troy Spratley of Oklahoma State and Stevo Poulin from Iowa State among others. In the 133-pound category, Jax Forrest of Oklahoma State leads the way, followed by Evan Frost from Iowa State.

For the 141-pound weight class, Sergio Vega of Oklahoma State holds the top seed, alongside Iowa State’s Anthony Echemendia. Meanwhile, Casey Swiderski from Oklahoma State leads the seeds at 149 pounds.

The competition in the 157-pound category features Kaleb Larkin from Arizona State as a standout competitor, while at 165 pounds, LaDarion Lockett of Oklahoma State is a key figure to watch.

In the 174-pound division, Alex Facundo from Oklahoma State is one of the favorites, and at 184 pounds, Zack Ryder from Oklahoma State seeks to capitalize on his top seed. The 197-pound class features Rocky Elam of Iowa State, while the heavyweight division at 285 pounds promises exciting matchups as well.
