A Prime Specimen is an exciting new quest introduced in the latest update of ARC Raiders, titled Headwinds. In this quest, players will navigate through several challenges, with one key task involving interaction with the formidable ARC Deforester. This guide aims to assist players in locating the ARC Deforester and successfully completing the A Prime Specimen quest.
To begin your journey, head to The Blue Gate map and journey west towards the Adorned Wreckage, where the next objective will present itself. Before interacting with the area, players must first acquire two ARC Powercells. These powercells can be obtained by defeating various ARC-type enemies scattered throughout the region, including the commonly found Wasps and Hornets.
Upon reaching the Adorned Wreckage, the imposing ARC Deforester will catch your eye. To initiate interaction with the Deforester, look for a sparkling component that signifies an interactable spot. Here, players should use the first ARC Powercell to activate the machinery, which will ignite flames within the Deforester, signifying progress.
After the flames ignite, players will notice a second interaction point that becomes available deeper inside the machine. Utilize the second ARC Powercell on this newly unlocked port to advance further. Once both powercells have been successfully used, the final stage of the quest is unlocked. To complete the objective, players must climb to the top of the ARC Deforester and loot the area.
