Stevie Nicks, the iconic singer-songwriter known for her powerful voice, has recently faced a setback due to a fractured shoulder, prompting her to reschedule several concerts on her 2025 tour. The announcement was made on her official Instagram page, informing fans that the injury will require time for recovery, leading to changes in the concert schedule for August and September.
Specifically, the much-anticipated concert at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, originally set for September 7, will now take place on October 28. Fans are encouraged to retain their tickets for the new date, as all previously scheduled shows in October remain intact and unaffected by these changes.
This comes after a challenging period for Nicks, who had been tapped to open for Billy Joel at Ford Field on November 15. Sadly, Joel’s tour was canceled following his diagnosis with a brain disorder, which ultimately led Nicks to announce her own separate concert tour.
Nicks was last seen performing in Michigan in Grand Rapids at the Van Andel Arena last September and at Little Caesars Arena in November 2023. Despite the current challenges, the legendary performer looks forward to returning to the stage later this fall.
