Love Island USA returns to Peacock on Tuesday, June 2, the streamer has announced, with the first episode dropping at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET and the villa reopening in Fiji for another summer of real-time dating drama. Ariana Madix will reprise her role as host for a third consecutive season, joined again by comedian Iain Stirling’s signature narration, as producers prepare what they expect to be another tightly scheduled run of episodes.

Peacock confirmed the show will follow Love Island’s rapid-release model: new episodes every day during the first full week, then airing daily except Wednesdays thereafter. Saturdays will continue to feature Love Island Aftersun, a companion show with unseen footage and interviews with Islanders who have been dumped. Though the streamer has not locked in a finale date, past seasons have run roughly 36 episodes; if season 8 follows that pattern it would likely conclude in mid-July, around July 12.

The return to Fiji and the rapid rollout come amid a careful promotional build. Madix, speaking to Marie Claire ahead of the season, said much of the production still felt in flux as the cast was being assembled. “This happens in such real-time with Love Island, I don't even think they know a lot of stuff to be able to tell me,” she said. “I'm excited we're going to be back in Fiji, and I think we're going to be in the same villa. I'm really excited to learn who the cast is going to be, but I'm probably going to be finding out about that a day before the world does. I'm living it along with you guys.”

As is customary for the U.S. edition, the full cast is likely to be revealed only days before the premiere. Season 7’s lineup was made public on May 29, five days ahead of its launch, and production has given no signal of a different approach this year. Last season’s premiere was also disrupted by a 40-minute delay on Peacock, a glitch producers and the streamer will be hoping to avoid this June.

A short teaser released by Peacock on May 6 offered the first promotional glimpse of the new run — and a small controversy. The clip features Madix warning of a “major Love Island heatwave” and teases the “hottest summer yet,” then cuts to a swimsuit-clad man with headphones and a clipboard. Reddit users pointed out that past promos often used actors, but a user identified the man in the comments as Seth Wilmoth, a fitness influencer who has posted that he ran 13 marathons across 13 California ecoregions. Peacock has not confirmed whether Wilmoth is an Islander; if he is, it would be an unusually early cast reveal.

Season 7 left mixed legacies: it was the most-watched original series on streaming in 2025 and produced breakout moments and personalities — cited in promotional materials as “Nicolandria’s romance” and the viral soundbites of Amaya Papaya — but it also faced racism scandals and toxic fandom behavior that shadowed the show’s cultural highs. Producers say they are aware of the scrutiny and public conversation as they assemble this year’s cast and run.

Further details — including the official season length, the full cast list and any additional programming changes — are expected in the days immediately before the June 2 premiere.
