Lady Gaga is extending the life of her Mayhem era with a filmed live performance and companion live album in partnership with Apple Music. Titled Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga Mayhem Requiem, the show was recorded last January at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles’ Koreatown and will premiere on Apple Music and in 15 AMC Theaters across the United States on May 14 at 8 p.m. Pacific Time.

Apple Music will open the Mayhem Requiem premiere to non-subscribers as a one-time live stream; subscribers will be able to stream the full performance and the accompanying live album on demand afterward. The live album is produced using Apple’s spatial audio technology, the company said, promising an immersive listening experience intended to capture the theatrical sweep of the Mayhem Ball staging.

Mayhem Requiem documents a reinterpretation of the five-act Mayhem Ball, the theatrical tour Gaga executive produced with her fiancé, Michael Polansky. The tour — which she first unveiled during her 2025 Coachella headlining set — was presented as a five-act opera that blended the singer’s recent material with reimagined arrangements of older songs. According to the release, the Wiltern performance finds Gaga “the phantom of her own gothic opera,” often at the piano or on synths, leading new arrangements of tracks including lead single “Abracadabra” and “Disease” amid the show’s cracked columns and ruined-set imagery.

The May 14 theatrical screenings will be held at 15 AMC locations nationwide, with participating cities listed as Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa and Washington, D.C. Fans interested in attending the theater events are directed to register through Apple ahead of the premiere.

The Apple Music release follows several prominent moments from Gaga’s Mayhem run. At the 2026 Grammy Awards in February she performed a rock-leaning rendition of “Abracadabra,” opting against a full dance troupe and appearing largely concealed behind an elaborate eye-like hat while delivering the reworked arrangement. The Grammys also added to her tally: Gaga picked up two awards at the ceremony, bringing her career total to 16 wins, after entering the show with seven nominations — the second-most that year behind Kendrick Lamar.

The Apple Music Live presentation and the spatial audio live album signal a continued emphasis on theatrical spectacle and sonic reinvention for Gaga, preserving a staged version of the Mayhem Ball for fans who did not catch the tour in person. The performance’s release date and multi-venue rollout make it one of the more prominent concert film premieres of the spring season, blending streaming access with a limited theatrical engagement.
